So I finally had some time yesterday for a quick mani. I decided to use China Glaze Spontaneous which happened to fit the mood just fine. It's not really a deep purple nor a lavender, kind of somewhere in between. Although I was bummed a bit because I broke a nail, so they had to be filed down, boo! Oh well, they grow pretty quick. ;)
So I did this pretty quick with no base coat. I did two coats of China Glaze Spontaneous. One quick coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust (which I LOVE!). And then a coat of SV.
So I've decided to start a blog. I figured I have enough practice doing my nails and enough pictures to post. :) If you have any questions of how I did any of them, you can just ask. For future posts, i plan on telling what I used and how I did it, but for now I will just start with what I've done.
These first three are Sally Hansen's Salon Effects:
Ok, so those aren't really my designs, but I did apply them to my nails :)
The next one I had help with from a friend who is also the one who gave me the idea to start a blog. Her name is Annelise and her blog is awesome so check it out! No Naked Nails! She also posted about doing the water marbling on my nails so if you want to know how, check out her post: Water Marbling Tutorial. Here are the pictures I took. (note: her camera is MUCH better!)
Alright, so the next are ones that I did. :)
Valentine's Day Heart
Black Shatter over Hot Pink
Black Shatter over Blue
(These are not my nails but I did paint them)
St. Patrick's Day Clover
French Pink and Purple Burst
Pink with White Striplets
Pink and Purple Flowers
Now some of these I had maybe a little help but for the most part did them alone. I hope you enjoyed this and I'm excited for previous posts. I usually try to do my nails once a week or so. :) Oh and yes, I am aware my camera kinda sucks, but it'll do for now.
